The First Post

In the spirit of the blogging revolution, I recently decided to join in on all the fun and start up this page. I really want to use this as a medium to create a discussion and share my opinions on music, society, art, and current events. For those who don't know me, I am a composer currently living in New York City. I was born in Los Angeles, the city I will always call "home," and spent my entire life growing up there until moving to New York to study Music Composition at NYU. My compositional style would most likely be considered classical but also reflects my education rooted in Jazz and "New-Music" styles. I'd list the different genres of music that I listen to but I really just hate the idea of genres. I like certain music because it speaks to me, not because it falls into a certain category. Well, anyway... That is all I really have to say at this point. I hope you enjoy whatever the future brings to this blog.
